Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 August 2026
This policy explains what Geo Checker processes when you scan a website, create an account or use a paid feature.
Who controls your data?
Geo Checker is the service controller for the data described here. Before production launch, replace this draft contact with the operating legal entity, registered address and privacy contact: [email protected].
Data we process
- Account data such as email address, locale and plan.
- Website URLs, scan results, findings and benchmark configuration you submit.
- Security and access data such as session identifiers and report access tokens.
- Payment and subscription references supplied by Stripe or iyzico. Geo Checker does not store card numbers.
Why we process it
We process data to provide the service and save your reports, secure accounts and prevent abuse, operate billing, and meet legal obligations. Optional analytics or marketing processing will only be added after a separate consent choice.
Retention
Account sessions are limited in time. Private report access tokens expire after one hour. Scan history and billing records are retained only as long as needed for the service, security, accounting and legal requirements. You can request deletion of your account data.
Service providers and transfers
We may use infrastructure, database, payment and AI providers to deliver requested features. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; the applicable contract and transfer safeguards should be confirmed before production launch.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Contact [email protected]; you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Automated scoring
GEO scores are informational site-readiness measurements. They do not make legal, employment, credit or similarly significant decisions about a person.
